Creamy Penne Mushroom Pasta


  • 2tbsp (26g) of Formula 1 Savoury meal, Mushroom and Herb
  • 1tsp or corn flour
  • 100ml of plant based milk
  • Zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 40ml of water
  • 55g of whole pasta (penne)
  • 25g of crème fraîche 
  • 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • Black pepper for seasoning


    1. In a saucepan, combine the Savoury Formula 1 and corn flour, then stir in 4 tablespoons of milk. Gradually add the rest of the milk, mixing well, then add the lemon zest and juice as well as 40 ml of water. Add pepper and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 1 to 3 minutes, until the mixture is thicker, smooth and hot.

    2. Meanwhile, place the penne pasta in a pot of boiling water and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until cooked as desired. Drain then place the penne in the saucepan of sauce. Stir in the crème fraîche and parsley. Serve immediately with a little pepper and enjoy.


    Mushroom & Herb Baked Falafel Bites


  • 2 scoops of Formula 1 Savoury Meal Mushroom & Herb
  • 120g of drained chickpeas
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • The zest of 1/2 lemon
  • 25 g of 0% plain yogurt
  • Black pepper
    Preheat your oven to 200 ° C and line a baking sheet with a sheet of baking paper. Place the Savoury Formula 1, chickpeas, egg white, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chopped herbs, olive oil and lemon juice in a food processor. Pepper and mix until you get a smooth mixture.
    Place the equivalent of a teaspoon of the preparation on the sheet of baking paper. Look for six oval shapes. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the falafels are golden brown and cooked through. Let cool a little, then serve garnished with chopped mint and coriander leaves, lemon zest and yogurt.
    Creamy Winter Mushroom & Herb Soup
    2 scoops of Formula 1 Healthy Meal
    250ml milk (preferably plant based milk)
    Pepper to season
    Gently shake the canister before using, as its contents may have settled. Warm 250 ml of semi-skimmed, plant based milk in a pan or a microwave for 80 seconds. Add 2 scoops (26 g) of Formula 1 Savoury Meal, blend (or shake) carefully until smooth and enjoy!
    For a vegan and dairy free option, add 2 scoops (26 g) of powder to 250 ml of warm, fortified soya beverage. Blend (or shake) carefully until smooth and enjoy!
