It’s officially that time of year again! Christmas is around the corner which means the festivities and social events are all lined up and temptations are everywhere. Here are some of our top tips for you to stay on track and avoid putting on the pounds this season!
#1 Have your morning shake! 🥤
Treat it the same as any other day. Start your day with our nutritious shakes to make sure you’re giving your body the important nutrients it needs. Have you tried our new
Spiced Apple flavour? The perfect winter shake to get you in the mood for Christmas ✨
#2 Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water 💦
It’s important to stay hydrated every day, we typically advise anything between 2-3 litres. But if you’re celebrating the festivities by consuming alcohol, you’ll definitely want to make sure you’re drinking enough water to avoid dehydration and help out with those dreaded hangovers 🥺
#3 Focus on your fibre!
You‘ll probably already know this, but we LOVE the
Oat Apple Fibre or as we like to call it ‘the belly buster’ 💪🏼. It helps to combine saturated fats in your stomach and pull them through. With all the yummy treats that this time of year brings, help your body flush out all those saturated fats and avoid the Christmas chub.
#4 Set aside 15 minutes every day for exercise 🚶🏼♀️
It’s easy to get lazy when it’s cold outside and your favourite film’s on the telly. But try and set yourself a target of at least 15 minutes of activity a day. Simply go on a walk or try a home workout –

#5 Plan your workouts properly 💪🏼
If you are a gym goer, plan your workouts around your social events. For example, if you’ve got an event in the evening, plan to head to the gym during the day so you can enjoy your night, guilt free! Or even plan to workout the morning after, it’s actually a great way to cure your hangover! 🙌🏼
#6 Eat before heading out 🍽
When heading out it’s easy to be tempted into eating all the naughty things to fill you up. Avoid this by eating before-hand. Because you’ll be full, you’ll be less likely to snack on the naughty stuff. If you don’t have time to make yourself a meal, put a
protein bar in your handbag to have on the go!
#7 Drink in moderation 🍸
We all love to have a drink and enjoy ourselves and by all means do that! Just be aware that alcohol holds a lot of hidden calories so make sure you’re drinking in moderation to avoid all those calories building up.
#8 Rest is best 💤
Lack of sleep actually affects the way our brains work. This can make it harder for us to make healthy choices and avoid temptation. So if you’re staying out late, don’t make those 9am plans because your body needs rest.
